Ce superbe ouvrage de 320 pages et plus de 350 illustrations présente l'artiste Jean Royère,
un livre très documenté qui présente l'oeuvre considérable d'un homme qui,
entre 1931 et 1972, a réalisé plus de mille projets à travers le monde,
de l'aménagement de la cité ouvrière d'Aplemont à la décoration du palais du Shah d'Iran,
créant avec légèreté et humour un style en rupture totale avec le passé.
A travers ce foisonnement créatif rendu par une riche iconographie, on découvre des formes
biomorphiques et des couleurs audacieuses qui exsudent la liberté et la fantaisie ornementale.
Dès les premières années de sa carrière, il se nourrit de la création de ses pairs scandinaves
