This hardcover book with 72 full color pages and great color pictures relates the history of the Zsolnay ceramic factory, created in 1855 in Hungary, famous for its Art-Nouveau ceramic and sandstone.
The Art Nouveau has been particularly interested in ceramics throughout Europe, where many artists and factories have approached this technique, with the desire to renew forms and decors.
Founded in 1853 in Pécs, Hungary, the Zsolnay Manufactory fully participated, under the direction of Vilmos Zsolnay, to the technical and artistic renovation of ceramics.
